Each found video stays separate from nearby photos. The result can show the MP4 format, duration and known resolution when those details are available. You can play the preview, confirm that it is the right clip and download only the file you need instead of saving an entire mixed collection.
This online video saver works in a regular web browser on a computer, iPhone or Android phone. It does not require a Snapchat sign-in, but it also cannot enter private chats, Memories, friends-only Stories or other content that is not publicly available.
How to download Snapchat videos
To save a public Snapchat video, use its share link or the publisher's username. Saving your own Snap, a received chat video or a Memory is a different task: use Snapchat's own saving controls for those. This downloader does not connect to your private account storage.
A direct link is the clearest input for one post. A username or Profile link helps you find a current Story, saved Highlight or Spotlight post. Some publisher Story links containing /p/ return a video that your browser must prepare before it can play or download. Keep the tab open while preparation is in progress.
Downloading one video gives that file to the browser. Selecting several videos starts separate browser downloads rather than creating a ZIP file. Your browser may ask whether the site is allowed to download multiple files; approve that prompt if you want every selected clip.

- Which Snapchat links can I use?
- Enter a public username, Profile URL, supported share link, Highlight link or Spotlight link. Some publisher Story links containing /p/ are also supported. Results may include public videos, photos and profile pictures, depending on what Snapchat currently makes available.
- Do I need to sign in to Snapchat?
- No. The tool works with public data and does not ask for Snapchat account credentials. It cannot use this access to open private content.
- Can it recover private, deleted or expired media?
- No. If an item is not publicly available, the tool cannot recover it. Private, removed and expired media remains unavailable.
- Does the tool change quality or remove watermarks?
- The tool does not add or remove watermarks, sharpen photos or increase video resolution. Existing marks remain. Most files download directly; some supported videos are first prepared as an MP4 in your browser. Preparing an MP4 does not create a higher-quality version.
- How do multiple downloads work?
- Selected items are saved as separate files, not a ZIP. Your browser may ask you to allow multiple downloads. Videos that need preparation use temporary browser memory before saving; the site does not keep a hosted media archive. Check your browser's download list for saved files.
- May I reuse the downloaded media?
- Only when you have permission and a lawful reason to do so. Public availability does not transfer ownership or reuse rights.
- Can this downloader guarantee HD or 4K video?
- No. It reports the resolution that is available and does not create a higher-resolution copy.
- Why is my Snapchat video taking time to prepare?
- Some supported videos are provided in pieces rather than as one ready-to-save MP4. Your browser needs to load and combine them first. Time depends on the video, your connection and device. Keep the page open and avoid submitting another link while it is preparing; switching results cancels that work.
- Where does a Snapchat video download go on iPhone, Android or a computer?
- The browser controls the save location. On a computer, check the Downloads folder unless you chose another location. On a phone, check the browser's download list or the Files app. Saving into Photos or a gallery may require a separate action on your device.
- Why does a valid link show photos but no videos?
- A result showing 0 videos means no downloadable video was found in that collection. It may contain only photos, or its videos may no longer be available. You can check another public collection or try the direct video link. The downloader does not turn a photo into a video.
- Can I download several Snapchat videos at once?
- Yes, when several public videos are found. Select the clips you need, then choose Download selected. Ready-to-save files are handed to the browser, while videos needing preparation are handled one at a time. The browser controls the final saves and may block additional files until you allow them.
- Will a prepared MP4 always include sound and work on my phone?
- Sound depends on the audio Snapchat provides and whether it can be included in the MP4. The tool cannot restore missing audio. Preparation also depends on browser support and device memory; larger or longer videos can fail, especially on a phone. There is no guarantee for every video length or device.
Saving Snapchat to MP4 and understanding video quality
A ready-to-save MP4 downloads as the available file. For some supported public videos, the browser instead prepares an MP4 from the available video and audio. For example, a supported /p/ publisher link may show one video and a preparation message when you open its preview. This does not export the whole Story or Highlight. A removed link, a private item or a video your browser cannot prepare may produce no downloadable file.
Saving Snapchat to MP4 here means saving a supported public video, not uploading an arbitrary file for conversion. Preparation changes how the available media is packaged; it is not a picture-quality upgrade or a promise of an identical file. The site adds no watermark and does not remove logos, captions or creator marks already in the video. A still cover shown before playback is a thumbnail, not a separate photo item or the video itself.
After a download starts, use your browser's download list to check whether it finished. The brief loading indicator on the site's button is not a transfer-progress display. If several clips look alike, open the saved files and compare them with the previews before removing duplicates. When a transfer fails, check the public post using View source, then try finding the video again. Its download link may no longer be available.
