View the saved collection, item by item
The Snapchat Highlight viewer opens a saved public collection so you can watch its videos and inspect its photos online. A public Profile can list several Highlights. Choose the collection you want to view, then open it to see the media currently available inside.
A Highlight is not the same as the current Story. Stories are time-sensitive, while an owner can save selected media into a Highlight that remains on the Profile. The viewer keeps the current Story and saved collections in separate tabs so their different availability is clear.
A Highlight cover is a shortcut to the collection, not all of its contents. Select Open collection to find the videos and photos inside, then choose an item to preview. You may find one media type or a mixture of both. A visible cover does not guarantee that the items are still public when you open it.
How to view a public Snapchat Highlight
Use the public Profile when you want to browse several saved collections, or paste a supported direct Highlight link when you already know which one you want. No Snapchat sign-in is required for available public results.
Opening the collection does not start a download. It loads the available item list and lets you select a video or photo for a larger preview. Use the Highlight Downloader only when saving the files is your next task.
Enter the exact public username or paste the supported Snapchat link, then select Find media.

You can start with a saved collection's link or find it among the Highlights on a public Profile.

Open Highlights on the Profile and compare the titles and covers to find the collection you remember.

Scan the collection's thumbnails and open that item. The arrows let you inspect the items beside it without returning to the list.
You want to check another Highlight
Close the preview and choose a different collection. The item totals describe the opened Highlight, not all Highlights combined.
Snapchat Highlight viewer FAQ
- Which Snapchat links can I use?
- Enter a public username, Profile URL, supported share link, Highlight link or Spotlight link. Some publisher Story links containing /p/ are also supported. Results may include public videos, photos and profile pictures, depending on what Snapchat currently makes available.
- Do I need to sign in to Snapchat?
- No. The tool works with public data and does not ask for Snapchat account credentials. It cannot use this access to open private content.
- Can it recover private, deleted or expired media?
- No. If an item is not publicly available, the tool cannot recover it. Private, removed and expired media remains unavailable.
- Does the tool change quality or remove watermarks?
- The tool does not add or remove watermarks, sharpen photos or increase video resolution. Existing marks remain. Most files download directly; some supported videos are first prepared as an MP4 in your browser. Preparing an MP4 does not create a higher-quality version.
- How do multiple downloads work?
- Selected items are saved as separate files, not a ZIP. Your browser may ask you to allow multiple downloads. Videos that need preparation use temporary browser memory before saving; the site does not keep a hosted media archive. Check your browser's download list for saved files.
- May I reuse the downloaded media?
- Only when you have permission and a lawful reason to do so. Public availability does not transfer ownership or reuse rights.
- Can I view Highlights from a private Profile?
- No. The viewer only presents Highlight information and media that Snapchat makes public.
- Does opening a Highlight automatically download it?
- No. Opening loads and previews the collection. Download actions remain separate.
- Can I view Snapchat Highlights without an account?
- Yes when the Profile and collection are publicly available through the supported web result. The viewer does not sign in to Snapchat and cannot open private, friends-only or account-restricted media.
- Why is a Highlight cover visible but the collection is empty?
- The card may be an older public summary while its items have been removed, restricted or are no longer available. A cover does not guarantee that the complete collection can still be opened.
- Can a Highlight viewer show both photos and videos?
- Yes. When both media types are available, the collection shows Image and Video labels and separate totals. Open a photo to inspect it or a video to watch it. Duration and dimensions may be missing even when an item can load; a missing detail is not proof that the file is unavailable.
Using the preview without losing your place
The counter in the preview shows your position in the opened collection. Use the left and right arrows to move one item at a time, or close the preview to pick a thumbnail directly. Videos try to play automatically when opened or selected with an arrow. If playback starts muted, turn on sound in the player; if your browser blocks playback, press Play. Photos remain still until you move on.
Public availability is checked at the time you open the Highlight. Owners can edit collections, and Snapchat can limit media by privacy, removal, age, region or login state. The viewer does not recreate missing items or reveal who viewed a Highlight. For a broader look at the Profile, use Snapchat Viewer; for the current time-sensitive collection, use Story Viewer.
