Download media from a public Snapchat Profile

The Snapchat Profile downloader starts with a public username or Profile link and organizes the media available for that Profile. It can include a current Story, saved Highlights, Spotlight posts and public images such as an avatar, banner or Snapcode.

The Profile summary identifies the owner, while separate tabs explain where each item came from. A Story is a current time-sensitive collection, a Highlight is a saved collection and Spotlight contains public short-form posts. Keeping those groups apart makes it easier to choose the intended file.

This is not a complete Snapchat account download or backup. It cannot export Memories, private Snaps, chats, contacts, friends, settings or login data. It only works with the public information and media available for the submitted username at the time of the lookup.

How to download public Profile media

Start with the exact public username or full Profile URL. Confirm the display name and username before downloading because similar display names can belong to different people.

Use Avatar, Banner or Snapcode for a Profile image. For videos and photos, choose the relevant collection first. A Highlight card needs to be opened before you can select its items; the card itself is not a download of everything inside it.

Snapchat Profile downloader FAQ

Which Snapchat links can I use?
Enter a public username, Profile URL, supported share link, Highlight link or Spotlight link. Some publisher Story links containing /p/ are also supported. Results may include public videos, photos and profile pictures, depending on what Snapchat currently makes available.
Do I need to sign in to Snapchat?
No. The tool works with public data and does not ask for Snapchat account credentials. It cannot use this access to open private content.
Can it recover private, deleted or expired media?
No. If an item is not publicly available, the tool cannot recover it. Private, removed and expired media remains unavailable.
Does the tool change quality or remove watermarks?
The tool does not add or remove watermarks, sharpen photos or increase video resolution. Existing marks remain. Most files download directly; some supported videos are first prepared as an MP4 in your browser. Preparing an MP4 does not create a higher-quality version.
How do multiple downloads work?
Selected items are saved as separate files, not a ZIP. Your browser may ask you to allow multiple downloads. Videos that need preparation use temporary browser memory before saving; the site does not keep a hosted media archive. Check your browser's download list for saved files.
May I reuse the downloaded media?
Only when you have permission and a lawful reason to do so. Public availability does not transfer ownership or reuse rights.
Is this a Snapchat account data export?
No. It only works with information and media shown on the public Profile. It cannot export Memories, chats, contacts or account settings.
Does Select all include every collection on the Profile?
No. Select all applies to the media currently shown, not every unopened Highlight or every other tab. Open each collection you need and make your selection there. Profile images have separate Avatar, Banner and Snapcode actions.
Why does a valid Profile have empty media tabs?
A public Profile does not always contain public media. The current Story may have expired, no Highlights may be saved and no Spotlight posts may be available. The tool keeps the Profile summary and shows the empty collections as they are.
Does the Profile downloader save the avatar and Profile picture?
Yes, when the public avatar is available. Avatar and profile picture refer to the same image. Choose Avatar to save it, or use Profile Picture Downloader for an avatar-focused guide. Banner and Snapcode are different images with their own download actions.
Can I download several Profile videos and photos at once?
You can select several items, but each remains an individual browser download. Your browser may ask you to allow multiple files, and mobile devices may place them in Downloads or Files rather than directly in Photos.

Public Profile media, empty collections and file handling

Video and photo items can show format, duration and resolution, but some details may be missing. Profile images do not have a pixel-size readout in the summary. Some supported videos need preparation as MP4 before saving; the tool does not combine separate collection items into an edited video or make a low-resolution file HD.

Check your browser's download list after saving from more than one collection. Download selected applies to the items you chose, not every tab on the Profile. Open a saved file to confirm its contents before starting another batch, especially when several clips have similar covers. Profile images use separate Avatar, Banner and Snapcode actions.
